Prospective Students
Latina/Latino Studies (LLS) is a department within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS). To apply to LLS you must first be admitted into the college. Please visit the Admissions website and follow the application steps to apply.
Current University of Illinois Students
Students who are interested in adding LLS as a second major or switching to the LLS major should visit the LAS office at 2002 Lincoln Hall. Dates for when students can change majors are published on the College of LAS website each semester.
Students should also meet with the LLS advisor, Sean Ettinger. He can be reached at snettin2@illinois.edu .
If you are from another college on campus and wish to add LLS as a dual degree major, you need to visit the LAS office for application information. Please visit the College of LAS website for application information.
