Sandra Ruiz has been named a 2020-2021 Helen Corley Petit Scholar in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. The award was endowed by Helen Corley Petit to recognize the scholarship and teaching of early career scholars. Each year LAS selects up to 5 award recipients based on the extraordinary record of research, teaching and service.
