After more than a year working on cataloging the department's library collection of more than 1,500 volumes, the LLS Library Collection is available for students and others to peruse and check out. The collection is located in room 107 in the Department of Latina/Latino Studies and is open Monday-Friday 9-5pm. Thank you to Library and Information Science graduate students Isaac Wink, Xingyu Liu, and Martinez for cataloging and organizing the collection. And thank you to Professor Lisa Romero for supervising the project and helping to recruit graduate student catalogers. Thanks also to Erica Gonzalez, former LLS student outreach and media coordinator and recent LLS major alum, for assisting with the project from inception.
